Baños Adventure

We depart from Quito heading south, following the “Avenue of the Volcanoes,” heading for the city of Baños. This wonderful little city sits at the feet of the active Tungurahua volcano. On the way, we can admire the green valleys of the Ecuadorian highlands, and see one of the highest volcanoes in Ecuador, Mount Cotopaxi; the second highest active volcano in the world. If the weather permits, we'll enjoy a spectacular view of this perfect snow-covered cone. After a drive of about three hours, we'll reach our destination, where a comfortable hotel expects us. Here, we’ll leave our gear and begin our adventure. Baños is a quaint little city surrounded by pristine waterfalls, hot springs, and a variety of fascinating outdoor activities.
